Back to PT

Stupid me.

I put off going to physical therapy until today since my knee had been steadily feeling better. The PT suspects that a combination of a weak hamstring, bad arch support and a tight IT band are causing some inflammation behind me knee cap. I’m on a regimen of PT and will be shopping for footbeds tonight. With any luck i’m still on for ski season.

  1. i guess i should read all your posts before commenting in the previous posts, because each one i further read seems to answer my question in the previous post. :)

what’s an IT band? i’m not wearing any band around my knee. guess the right shoes are even more important now for our knees. i’ve been wearing mostly my adidas sneakers these past 3 months. no more girly shoes for a long while! :(

  2. The IT or Iliotibial band is basically a piece of tissue that connects your hip and knee.
