  1. Its been about 3 month since my surgery and things seem to be going on track. But today I was laying on the couch with my lower legs hanging off the edge, when my daughter started crying. So I quickly got up not realizing that my knee was asleep. I got up and ended up putting all the weight on my right leg (recent acl), which ended up giving out and myself falling straight down on my knee. Mind you I don't have full range of motion yet. When my knee bent all the way down to full compression I heard a pop. It did hurt, just sounded like all the other pops I've been having lately, doc said it was due to scar tissue. After about 30 min the back of my knee started hurting. What kind of damage could have happened from a fall like this?....like I said I feel straight down, I didn't twist my knee. I would call my doc but its the weekend so getting a hold of him is going to be a but hard, and its late at night.

  2. More than likely, you broke through some scar tissue going all the way to full compression. It could end up being a good thing! I would ice it for a bit and maybe take Motrin (etc.) if it swells. Your body will tell you if you did any harm...you will know if something is amiss.

Nonetheless, I would call my doctor on Monday for ease of mind.

  3. There's a few different feelings running around in my knee, at any particular time--mostly it's quiet (I'm 3 weeks post op from an acl allograft and menisectomy), but sometimes there's numbness, sometimes soreness and achey, but everything has been within the normal range, according to my physical therapist--he did mention, though, that breaking through the scar tissue was going to hurt alot, and so I hope that's what you went through. I don't want to worry about every creak (but I do anyway), so when you find out, please keep us updated!

  4. I will, as of today its a bit sore but nothing painful enough to prevent me from walking or going up and down stairs.
