  1. Greetings everyone. I recently had ACL patellar graft along with a meniscus repair on Wednesday morning. I am in the recovery stage, but my leg below the problematic knee is still numb from the knee to the toes. Is this normal? My doctor nonchalantly says it will pass, but I am a worrier. Any information or words of advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

  2. Jacob,

I had a femoral block and my leg was still pretty numb for at least 3 or 4 days. I still have numbness along my incision and to the left of it. My PT told me that nerves regenerate about the same speed as your hair does, so there will be numbness there for a long time. Hope this helps.
