Knee Pain Update
The good news is the Dr. said my ACL feels “rock solid”. Unfortunately that does not explain the clicking and soreness I’ve been experiencing for the last two weeks.
His initial diagnosis is that my knee cap has become inflamed and he’s having me me go back to PT for a couple weeks. If that doesn’t help I’ll be back in the MRI with the hope that there’s a bit of torn meniscus which he could scope and clean up, having me back in action for ski season.
That sucks. I’m 6 weeks post op on the right knee w/ cadaver graft - tomorrow and after having my left knee done patella graft in 1990……..I’m done. This had better be it.
henry, i wonder why the knee cap got inflamed.
Hey Henry,
Are you skiing yet? I’ve been out both inbounds and backcountry this year, all in crappy conditions (icy or breakable crust) and I’ve scared myself silly. I fell last night and popped my knee. I think it was just scar tissue but I’m not sure. Just looking for other’s experiences who have returned to skiing the year of surgery.

I feel your pain Henry but also only six weeks between two knee surgeries! wow!
